I created these forums to allow those of us who live and work on the river to communicate with each other. I bought my first houseboat in 1990 and immediately discovered that marina dwellers are more connected that those who live in their carefully controlled cities and suburbs. We tend to know more of our neighbors, to spend more time with each other and to help each other. I hope these forums can help further this connectedness.
Suggestions are welcome. I struggled with which forums to create, what to allow or disallow, etc. If I got it wrong or need to adjust the rules, tell me. If you want something, ask. I do not promise you'll get it, but asking does increase your chances.
